Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Have you ever focused so much on a problem you become flustered, distracted, and immobilized? Maybe it's a doctor's report, loss of a job, poor relationship, or financial struggles. You spend all your free time researching and reading about your problem out of fear and panic, or waste time in the "shoulds" and "what if's." Jesus and his disciples had been at a wedding celebration, and midway through, the hosts ran out of wine. This was unheard of and highly embarrassing—definitely a problem. Mary feels the pain of the hosts and knows that only Jesus can resolve this problem. When asked by His mother to do something about the shortage of wine, Jesus responded by saying, "Woman, what does this have to do with me?" (John 2:5) Even though the problem had nothing to do with Jesus, Mary responded by saying to the servants, "Do whatever He says," she seemed to know that Jesus was getting ready to do something unique, that He had a plan. Jesus then requested the servants fill up six giant stone water jugs with water and take them to the wedding host. The host took a sip from the jug and realized that the water had been turned into wine.

He performed His first of many miracles that day at Cana to show other people who He was and what He would be for them. Maybe you feel like there is no hope and no one to help you. It looks as if there's no solution! Even when you're facing the worst circumstances, when you need help, call upon Jesus. Doing this will change your focus from the problem to the solution. Remember, He always has a plan!

Reflect back on all the time's God came through. When you thought there was no way, He made away!
