For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 God knew we would need a Savior. He knew we would need to be set free, and He made a way by sending His One and Only Son so that we could receive forgiveness and find new life and HOPE through Him. The whole message of Christmas is wrapped up in Jesus, God’s greatest gift, who came as a tiny baby with one powerful purpose—to save a lost world. Jesus brought HOPE for the future, the present, HOPE even over the past. Amid the last-minute shopping, wrapping, and preparations, remember the real reason we celebrate Christmas.

It is my prayer that you and yours will find lasting joy, refreshed hope, and a heart turned toward Jesus during this Christmas season! REFLECT Think of ways you can stay focused on HOPE this week. How can you keep a heart turned towards Jesus?

Here are a few suggestions. Journaling, daily prayer, counting your blessings, listening to Christian Christmas music, fellowship, and scripture.
